Drift Support

Open the app and tap the Sounds tab. Tap any sound tile to start playing it. The sound loops continuously. Tap it again to stop. You can have multiple sounds playing at the same time.

No. All 19 sounds are bundled with the app when you download it. Drift works completely offline — in aeroplane mode, underground, or anywhere with no signal.

Yes. Drift plays audio in the background. Lock your screen, switch to another app, or browse the web — the sounds keep playing. Use your phone's volume buttons to change the overall volume.

Every sound that's playing appears under Now playing with its own slider. Drag it to set that sound's volume independently of the others. Tapping a playing tile stops that sound.

Up to 3 at once, each with its own volume control, during the free trial or once you've unlocked Drift. On the free plan, one sound plays at a time.

When you have a mix you like, tap the Scenes tab and tap "Save current mix". Give it a name. Your scene is saved on device and appears in the Scenes list for quick one-tap resume.

Drift includes 19 sounds: gentle rain, heavy rainfall, thunderstorm, river stream, ocean waves, rain on a tent, forest, night crickets, wind & leaves, campfire, white noise, brown noise, pink noise, box fan, air conditioner, coffee shop, fireplace, train carriage and library. All bundled — nothing streams. Gentle rain, ocean waves and white noise stay free after the trial.

Yes. In the Scenes tab, swipe left on any scene (iOS) or long-press it (Android) to reveal the delete option.

Tap the timer icon on the Sounds tab. Choose how long to play (15 minutes to 2 hours) and how long the fade lasts (1, 2, 5 or 10 minutes). Drift lowers the volume gradually over the fade until silence. You can set your defaults in Settings.

Yes. Open the Reminder tab, pick a time and turn on the daily reminder. You'll get a gentle notification each evening to start winding down — no internet needed. Drift doesn't have a wake-up alarm. Make sure Drift has notification permission in your phone's Settings.

Check that Drift has notification permission (Settings → Apps → Drift → Notifications on Android, or Settings → Drift → Notifications on iOS). On Android, also check that battery optimisation is not restricting Drift.

Yes. The sleep timer runs in the background. Lock your screen as normal — the sounds will fade out and stop when the timer ends.

No. Drift collects no personal data: no account, no analytics, no crash reporting. Your saved scenes and settings live only on your phone, and we have no server. The app only goes online to check your purchase through RevenueCat (using a random ID, never your name or email) and to look for app updates.

Your saved scenes, timer preferences and reminder settings are permanently deleted. There is no cloud copy and nothing to request from us. On iPhone, the date your free trial started stays in the device Keychain, so reinstalling doesn't restart the trial.

In v1.0, data is tied to your device. If your phone backup includes Drift, restoring from that backup should transfer your scenes. Otherwise, you can re-create them — the sound combinations are not complex.

Drift is free to download and includes a 7-day free trial with everything unlocked — no card or account needed, and nothing is charged when it ends. After the trial, three sounds and the sleep timer stay free. Unlocking every sound, mixing and scenes is £5.99 (or $7.99 USD) as a one-time purchase. You pay once and own it forever — no subscription, no recurring charges.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google. On iOS: go to reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android: open the Play Store → Order history → Request a refund. We have no ability to process refunds directly.

Yes. Sign in with the same Apple ID (iOS) or Google account (Android), then open Settings → Unlock Drift and tap "Restore purchase".
