By downloading, installing, or using Drift – Sleep Sounds & Timer (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms apply to the App published by Cartolinks (“we”, “us”, “our”) on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Subject to your purchase and compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
Drift is sold as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The price is £5.99 (or regional equivalent). You will be charged at the time of purchase through your App Store or Google Play account.
No subscription. There is no recurring charge. You pay once and own the licence to use the App indefinitely.
Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their standard refund policies. We have no ability to issue refunds directly.
Future features. We may add premium add-on features in the future. These will be clearly labelled and require a separate optional purchase. Core functionality as described at time of purchase will remain available without further payment.
All 20 sound files included with Drift are licensed for use within the App only. The licence granted in Section 2 does not extend to the audio files themselves. You may not extract, copy, share, or use the bundled audio files outside of the App.
Drift is a personal sleep aid tool providing ambient sound. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical or therapeutic advice, and must not be used as a substitute for medical treatment of sleep disorders or any other condition.
If you have concerns about your sleep quality or a sleep disorder, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
All data you create in Drift — saved scenes, timer preferences, alarm settings — is stored locally on your device only. We have no server. We cannot access your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You are solely responsible for managing your data. Deleting the App permanently deletes all data stored by it. We cannot recover deleted data.
We aim to keep the App available and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may release updates that change functionality. We will not remove core features without notice, but we reserve the right to discontinue the App with reasonable advance notice.
The App requires a compatible device running iOS 16 or Android 9.0 or later. We do not guarantee compatibility with future operating system versions, though we will endeavour to maintain it.
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and bundled audio content, is owned by Cartolinks and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you. “Drift” and the Drift logo are trademarks of Cartolinks.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will improve your sleep, that the fade-out timer will be accurate to the second, or that the App will be error-free.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived by contract under applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cartolinks will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or any harm arising from your use of or inability to use the App — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These Terms apply for as long as you use the App. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
We may suspend or terminate your licence if you breach these Terms. On termination, the licence granted in section 2 ends immediately. Sections 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will change. We will notify you of significant changes via the App's release notes. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
